Celebrated Media personality Janet Mbugua Ndichu is returning to the screen with an all-new show on NTV after a long hiatus.
The mother of two who left TV in 2017 could not hide her excitement as she posted about this new venture on her various social media pages saying that she has butterflies in her stomach.
The former news anchor at Citizen TV will be back on television with a new show dubbed ‘Here and Now’ that will tackle the social, economic and political issues that Kenyan youths are facing, a reliable source told The Sauce.
The source also went on to reveal that the show which has the tagline, ‘It’s time for a different voice’ will start airing later this month on Thursday nights and that Janet, will have panel discussions regarding various issues affecting the youth.
‘Here and Now’ is a co-production between Janet Mbugua and NTV who recently celebrated 60 years in the game.
Janet who started her career in Media at Capital FM, quit Citizen TV to follow other of her passions like empowering girls, authoring or public speaking reported Standard Media Group’s Eve Woman.
The 35-year-old runs her own YouTube channel where she shares her life with her fan base of 32,000 subscribers, she champions for the ‘Help A Child Reach 5’ campaign with Lifebuoy, Menstrual equality and is the founder of Inua Dada Foundation. Inua Dada organization ensures that primary school girls of menstruating age are receiving menstrual health management education and sanitary towels so that they can be able to attend and complete school successfully.
