“These numbers are a testimony of our youth’s yearning to learn more about our capital markets and gain practical experiences,” NSE chairman Edward Njoroge said.

Mr Njoroge said that NSE believed in having informed investors.

The financial literacy programme, founded in partnership with Smart Youth Investment Limited and sponsored by NIC Securities, targets to empower youths attending universities and other tertiary institutions with knowledge on investing and savings.
