Babu Owino has officially made it.
The outspoken Kenyan politician has grabbed the attention of popular gossip account The Shaderoom for his unique apology. The Embakasi East Member of Parliament was recently forced to express their regret for an incident where he slapped a fellow politician Hon. Charles Njagua during a scuffle last year. A former student leader at the University of Nairobi, Owino is not stranger to breaking the rules.
The incident that was quickly resolved had not come up until late November 2018 when Hon. Babu Owino and Starehe MP Hon. Njagua were forced to offer a formal apology in Parliament as required by the Powers and Privileges Committee chaired by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi. Despite the severity of the matter, Babu’s funny take on the incident made a mockery of the fight leaving many entertained and bewildered.
