University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor Prof. Magoha has assured students and staff that the University schedule has not been disrupted by the saba saba rally. Magoha was responding to an SMS alert that had been sent to students about classes being cancelled.

“The University’s attention is drawn to an SMS from 20133 that is circulating to students and members of staff informing that classes have been cancelled on July 7, 2014.”

“This is to inform all students and members of staff that academic programmes and all other activities at the University of Nairobi are proceeding normally.  I urge you to disregard any information emanating from any quarters purporting to suspend business at the University.”
