Lupita says in the interview that she loves kales and that’s her favorite food in Kenya and Brooklyn, translating to ‘Sukuma wiki’, which Ferguson attempts to pronounce. Lupita gets into character with the host and gives the viewers a glimpse of her life growing up in Kenya. “I had a pet. It was dead.” The audience bursts out laughing.
