Grammy-winning rap star Lil Wayne was taken to hospital on Sunday after suffering a seizure and being found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room, TMZ said on its web site.
Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. a former member of the Cash Money Records, is known for hit tracks including the 2016 Suicide Squad soundtrack “Sucker For Pain.” The rapper is known for his unique sound and outrageous comments. The father of 3 was rushed to Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial hospital after a night of drinking the codeine concoction “Lean.” According to TMZ, “sources say his team tried to have him discharged late Sunday afternoon so he could make it to his Vegas show.” Unfortunately, because of the risky nature of his case, Lil Weezy has been advised to remain under doctor’s supervision and is yet to be discharged.
Now, with recent developments of his state, the Vegas show has been cancelled as fans await to learn more on the state of the “How To Love” rapper.
Reuters reported 4 years ago Lil Wayne, spent several days at a Los Angeles hospital, after which he told radio station Power 106 he was epileptic and prone to seizures.
