Life is good! King Kaka shows up and shows out on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet

Empire builder King Kaka is at the Cannes Film Festival.

The +254 rapper stayed at the Le Majestic Barriere Hotel & Spa on the Croisette and has been mingling with the high and mighty of the film industry since his arrival in the seaside town.

Once a rabbit seller, the UNICEF Kenya advocate took to Instagram to share his special moment on the Cannes red carpet. He captioned the post, “A Kenyan in Cannes. History is made. First Kenyan musician to grace the red carpet in 72years.” Dressed in a white tuxedo, he kept it Kenyan with an ankara bowtie and pocket square to top the elegant look.

Kennedy Ombima is visiting France for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival as a Remy Martin Brand Ambassador. The ‘Eastlando’ crooner has been enjoying photoshoots on the sandy beaches of the seaside town, riding helicopters across the Mediterranean Sea and living the fly life in Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France.

In September 2018, King Kaka was announced as a Remy Martin brand ambassador with a spectacular advert. As reported by The Sauce, the global campaign entitled “One Life. Live Them” is said to be a first for the region and calls for individuals to explore a life that is rich with experience.
