Konde Worldwide founder Harmonize has addressed the state of his relationship with his former boss Diamond Platnumz.
Harmonize was part of the Wasafi Classic crew before buying his way out to start the Konde Worldwide record label. Speaking during a recent interview, Harmonize noted that he no longer has a relationship with Diamond.
The ‘Bedroom’ singer, however, acknowledges that he has no personal issues with Diamond but they are not on speaking terms.
“I respect him he is doing a very good job, but we are not friends, I don’t wanna lie to you. But we are cool, we are from same country Tanzania, we used to be friends but now we are not, I don’t want to lie to you, but not in a bad way, we used to work together but we are not working anymore, that’s what I’m trying to say, for some business reasons,” said Harmonize.
Harmonize is also on record stating that he no longer has a relationship with other Wasafi crew members following his exit from the label as reported on Mdundo.
“Sitaki kusema uongo, mahusiano yangu na uongozi wangu uliopita sio kama zamani, na kuhusu wao kushindwa kuhudhuria ndoa yangu mimi niliweka nadhiri kuwa siku ya ndoa yangu ningependa wahudhuriaji wawe ni ndugu zangu niloishi nao vizuri kijijini,” he added.
Under Konde Worldwide, Harmonize has released the ‘Afro East’ album that features several African stars like Nigeria’s Burna Boy. More recently, he collaborated with Darassa, Country Boy, Young Lunya, Moni, Billnas, Rosa Ree, Baghdad on the remix of ‘Bedroom’.
He has also signed Ibraah who is working on a debut EP. The first major act from Harmonize’s Konde Music Worldwide. The duo are also rumored to be working on a new release with Kenyan star Otile Brown.
