KOT Is Up In Arms After Man Dies Mysteriously In Ruaka Club

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) are up in arms over the death of one Brian Macharia, 27,  in a Ruaka club on Sunday 26th September 2021.

Police have launched investigations into Macharia’s death, who was allegedly murdered by security guards at Wingu Bistro in Ruaka.

Surveillance footage shows a scuffle between him and security guards, after what started out as an exchange of words between him and a staff member at the club, who called a guard on him, per the footage.

He is later seen getting dragged out of the club even after he seemingly tries to explain something to one of the bouncers. He is dragged to the ground and assaulted severally.

Other revelers try to intervene but their efforts bear no fruit as the bouncers are seen pushing them. Macharia is then shoved into a storage room, and minutes later his lifeless body is found six stories below.

It is not clear what exactly ensued, but it is alleged that Macharia broke a glass prior to the scuffle. Police have since arrested 3 people in connection to the death and revoked the club’s licence.
