Former Citizen TV business news anchor TerryAnne Chebet has taken to social media to narrate her ordeal with a man she mistook for a serious job seeker.
Posting screenshots of the conversation, the entrepreneur jokingly said she was all for somebody trying their chance her, but not while trying to get her to get them a job simultaneously.
âA very short story. I’m all about shooting your shot, but not when you’re actively job hunting. Got an inbox, good candidate, mailed him to book an interview, only to scroll up on IG to see messages he’d been sending me, which I hadn’t seen. The End. Like, The End, ââ she posted on twitter, complete with screenshots of the unnamed man hitting on her.
Twitter users, in response to the expose, have savagely attacked the former anchor with scathing insults over disappointment in her actions.
Many of the tweeps feel it was pointless for the businesswoman to publicly share her encounter with the anonymous man.
Jabs at her age, looks and character have been hurled at Chebet relentlessly.
