Konshens says he will soon be back to the other Dancehall capital, Nairobi very soon after getting DMs from Kenyan fans.
Jamaican hitmaker Garfield Spencer alias Konshens has toured many parts of the world but there is one city he keeps coming back to, Nairobi, Kenya. This is because of the mad love that he gets whenever he is in the country and the large number of fans he has amassed through his ‘body moving’ music.
On Sunday (19.05.19) the ‘Bruk Off Yuh Back’ crooner took to Twitter to send a shout out to his beloved Kenyan fans who have been supporting his music and direct messaging him on his social media platforms asking him to come back to Kenya to perform soon.
In the tweet that has over 1,500 retweets, the 34-year-old said he had alot of love for his Kenyan fans and promised that he will return to the 254 soon as he sees all the messages that he gets. He However did not specify when this soon is.

Elated Kenyan dancehall fans replied to the tweet saying that they could not wait for his soon coming Kenyan show and one even said that they would start saving up for the concert immediately. A female fan asked that he not come to the country with his wife Latoya Wright whom he married in 2017. Some fans replied back in Swahili, while others sent their replies with hilarious memes and some anxious fans asked the dancehall star to stop playing and say when exactly he will be here.
Recently as reported by The Sauce, another Jamaican artist popularly known as Etana returned to give Kenyans a dose of her beautiful music such as ‘Weakness In Me’, ‘Love Song’, ‘Happy Heart’, ‘I’m Not Afraid’, ‘I Rise’, ‘My Man’ and ‘Richest Girl’ in a concert with thousands of fans.
Reggae and Dancehall music has seen increased popularity over the years since the 2000s and it seems that things are not letting up especially with the large number of artists who come to perform to Kenya. These artists include Alaine, Tarrus Riley, Richie Spice, Cecile, Chris Martin, Luciano, Glen Washington and Morgan Heritage just to name a few.
