Businessman Dr. Chris Kirubi will be the chief guest at the 6th Annual Education & Leadership Congress organized by Equity Group Foundation in partnership with The MasterCard Foundation and Wings to Fly Partners.

Kirubi will speak to 4,500 Form 3 and 4 Wings to Fly Scholars about ‘Leadership and Giving’ on Friday, 1st May from 4-5pm at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

Equity Foundation Managing Director, Helen Gichohi, said the Congress aims to nurture leadership skills and create a global mindset in the scholars by exposing them to mentoring opportunities from outstanding role models.

“It is also the primary networking forum for the scholars and lays the foundation for long-term conversations and collaborations to create transformational change,” said Dr. Gichohi in a statement.

Through plenary sessions, panel discussions, workshops and focus groups, the congress will explore value systems on leadership and giving, highlighting the promotion of servant leadership by the scholars.
