Kenyan lyricist King Kaka has finally released his most anticipated collabo featuring American rapper Cassidy.
The collabo titled ‘Faraway’ sets an international milestone for King Kaka will be one of his greatest achievements so far. The father of three is the first Kenyan on Hot 97, a popular hip hop radio station in the US, and has also worked with the legendary Tracy Morgan on a track ‘Royalty’.

The new song called ‘Far Away’ is a feel-good afro rap soundtrack. In this jam, Remy Martin Ambassador King Kaka kills it with his mastery of the Swahili flow, making the tune a certified banger. As much as fans are impressed with the vocals on the collabo many are questioning why Cassidy is not on the video.
Far Away feeds into your wanderlust which takes you to amazing places with feel-good vibes. The chorus is written by King kaka, young Kenyan artist Brian Nadra with additional vocals by Kuhani. The track has been produced by Eric Musyox of Decimal Records and video directed by Hussein Njoroge.
Barry Adrian Reese aged 36 popularly known as Cassidy is an American rapper from Philadelphia who joined hip-hop music through battle rap. He had his breakthrough in the early 2000s.
His biggest record of all time is ‘I’m A Hustla’ which explained the lives of people in the hood which was dominated by blacks. Cassidy is also known for the hit singles ‘Hotel’, ‘Get No Better’, ‘B-Boy Stance’ and ‘My Drink n My 2 Step’.
Cassidy has been releasing music on and off in the recent years but he has also been in a few rough patches. In 2005 he was arrested and charged with murder, he ended up being in custody for a few months. In 2006 he was involved in a bad traffic accident which made him comatose for a few days, lost his memory partially, broke several bones and left him with visible scars on his face.
