The Students’ Union of Maseno University (SOMU) organized the annual beauty and talent pageant at Siriba Campus, Maseno University. With sponsorship from Equator Bottlers (Coca-Cola), students showcased their talent at the packed Graduation Pavilion grounds on 25th March.
The event was covered live by DNA and was graced by several artistes including DNA. Maseno University also had its share of talent with Veteran Dance crew doing their much acclaimed dance piece and Jamtaa – a street styled rapper making waves locally.
Students braved slight rains to witness an array of dazzling catwalks from models. Various fashion designs and themes were on display amidst comrades cheering their preferred models. The crowd was wildly cheering way before the judges announced Leah Tesfamariam and Charles Kariuki as the 2013-2014 Miss and Mr. Maseno University respectively.
