Kim Kardashian’s popular shapewear brand SKIMS has collaborated with Italian luxury fashion house Fendi on a new capsule collection.
The reality TV star, 41, made the announcement backed by breathtaking photos of the new collection, set to drop November 9 on www.skims.com. The collection entails form-fitted black and brown bodysuits, which she models with a brown bra in the announcement post. “ Introducing FENDI x SKIMS – a first of its kind collaboration that unites the luxury of @Fendi with the innovation of @SKIMS. This limited edition collection launches on November 9 at 6am PST at www.fendiskims.com #FENDIxSKIMS,” Kim wrote.
The new designs will include swimwear, apparel, lingerie, shapewear, lingerie and hosiery. This is the first time that the SKIMS brand has collaborated with another clothing apparel. Recently, Kardashian partnered with Team USA at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics to design underwear and loungewear for the team. “Every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.” she said of the move.
Kardashian launched SKIMS in September 2019 and in June this year, Forbes reported that the brand was worth $ 1.6 billion.
Fendi is a 96-year-old ultra Roman luxury fashion house owned by mega clothing conglomerate LVMH.
This collaboration stemmed from Kardashian’s longtime friendship with Fendi’s creative director of womenswear and haute couture, Kim Jones.
