O.G Khaligraph Jones remains respected as Akothee releases ‘Rollam’ and Naiboi drops mega gospel collab

There are a few new releases out of the +254. And if you are not riding the gengetone wave, there are some new tracks out that could ticket your fancy.

1.Akothee- Rollam

Renowned Kenyan musician Akothee has released a new hit dubbed ‘Rollam’.

The song was produced by Gospel on the Beat, the video shot at Weston Hotel, and directed by One Montage Films.

Akothee, who is known for her love of splendor according to Mdundo, does not disappoint in the video. The choice of venue, accompanied by the excellent transition, makes it a must-watch.

The dancers in the video also pull some nice dance moves that provide a great accompaniment to the beats.

‘Rollam’ is currently trending at position 31 on YouTube Kenya, and has managed over 66,000 views and 500 comments on the same platform. Before, ‘Rollam’ was released; the musician had gone for a couple of months before dropping a new song.

2. Naiboi, Jabidi, Didiman, Ben Cyco, Maludand Davi ad Wonder – Sondeka Part 3

Renowned Kenyan musician Naiboi has released ‘Sondeka Part 3’ featuring a number of top local gospel musicians.

Jabidi, Didiman, Ben Cyco, Maluda, Didi Man, and David Wonder.

In the song produced by RIXX, the artists share a great message, still in line with the overall ‘Sondeka’ theme. Naiboi’s ability to bring together Kenya’s music industry is impressive and proves that local acts can indeed work together.

According to Mdundo, an hour after premiering, the song is making a kill online with over 4,000 views and over 200 comments on YouTube. This is the second remix to the original song ‘Sondeka’.

A few weeks ago, Naiboi worked with another set of Kenyan music stars to produce ‘Sondeka Part 2’.

Some of the renowned artists featured in the song include; DJ Shiti, EXRAY of Boondocks Gang, Kristoff, Fena Gitu, Benzema of Ochungulo Family, Femi One, Mordecai of Hart the Band, Visita, and Khaligraph Jones.

3.Khaligraph Jones feat Lamaz Span K.O.B. – Siogopi

It’s a brother act in the latest release from the Real O.G, in the release ‘Siogopi’ featuring Lamaz Span K.O.B.

The bars are heavy and the beat hits hard in the classic Khali style. With some entertaining lyrics, the track is interesting and delivers hype by the boatload.  He addresses a few matters in the track including his puzzling American accent, and more importantly, the HBR Top 0 Hip Hop artists list Trending online for a week after its release on October 10th, Khaligraph Jones has proved that he can do no wrong, the Real O.G should be respected.

As we get into the end of the year, we expect all three acts to produce more tracks to usher in the party season.
