House of Cards star Kevin Spacey has made headlines for his recent admission.
The 58-year-old actor reacted to allegations of sexual assault from fellow actor Anthony Rapp, claiming he may have been drunk while making the sexual advances on the then minor. The alleged act is set to have happened more than 3 decades ago, and to the surprise of many, Spacey addressed the allegations with a public statement that also had him reveal his sexual orientation. The two actors met while they were performng in New York on Broadway in 1986, which is when the attempted rape is set to have occurred. Rapp shared his story and his motivations to come out years after the incident. According to the New York Times, Mr. Rapp refrenced the Harvey Weinstein scandal saying “I came forward with my story, standing on the shoulders of the many courageous women and men who have been speaking out, to shine a light and hopefully make a difference, as they have done for me.”
Spacey was also quick to respond with a public statement that he shared on Twitter.
Unfortunately for Spacey, his “coming out” was not well received by many, with some comparing him to the manipulative, conniving House of Cards character Frank Underwood he plays on the hit show.
I thought Kevin Spacey playing a secretly gay president was very convincing… well as it turns out… pic.twitter.com/mrGg2Qpjqd

1/ Kevin Spacey making his apology all about him, gives a perfect insight into the narcissistic mindset of a predator.

Don’t forget this night. Kevin Spacey used gay people as a shield to divert attention away from him preying on a 14 year old child.
