A viral video of controversial actor Joseph Kinuthia has Kenyans talking, and for all the wrong reasons.
The now-viral video shows the actor engrossed in what looks like an exorcism , being carried out by infamous pastor, Kanyari who is loudly exclaiming that Omosh is now freed from the demons currently holding him hostage, after which the latter supposedly collapses on the ground, flanked by a bunch of people.
Kanyari taps Omosh’s wrist and is seen to gesture at him, which eventually leads to him sprawling to the floor. The video has been shared widely with many questioning the credibility of what it portrays, with Kanyari’s past links to hoodwinking his congregants with staged events of similar nature.
The actor has denied staging the viral video and is adamant that it was the ‘spirit’ that saw him sent him to the floor. “There was no acting there. I was being prayed for you I was deep in prayers. When he put his hand on me nikajirelease kama ni baraka siwezi kaza mguu ionekane sikuanguka. No! I fell,” He tells a local news outlet.
Omosh has made the headlines numerous times about his dire financial status that saw many well-wishers come to his rescue with cash, a house and other kinds of gifts in 2021.
