Celebrated Kenyan actor and radio presenter Nick Ndeda has something epic up his sleeves – a movie on the life late Kenyan rap legend E Sir.
It has been two decades since the rapper met his untimely demise on March 16, 2003. Celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the Moss Moss rapper, Ndeda wrote: “Kenyan music was never the same after March 16 2003. We lost him but his influence is the reason (I think anyway) Kenyan HipHop and Pop grew with such leaps and bounds over the last 20 years. We all need to put some Respek on his name.”
The multihyphenate implored followers to help him if they knew anybody that looks like ESir to portray the rapper in the movie. “I know it’s gonna be a long journey but I’m doing this purely out of love and respect for someone who shaped me as an artist. Long live E Sir. Let’s make this film! Please share widely,” He reckoned.
Ndeda has won numerous awards as a radio presenter, actor and producer.
