Kenya Poly students die on Nrb-Mbs road accident

Three Kenya Polytechnic students lost their lives on the Nairobi – Mombasa highway Sunday afternoon after a road accident that involved four motor vehicles. The Kenya Poly college bus collided with a bus as the driver tried to swerve to avoid a head-on collision.

According to witnesses, two other saloon cars rammed the bus on the rear after the collision. The accident also claimed a child in one of the saloon cars.

The students were on their way to Mombasa for a sports event when the accident happened near Ikanga and Mtito Andei. The injured, including 10 students, were rushed to Makindu and Mtito Andei hospitals.
