Kenyans on Twitter are having a field day with the recent Silverstone troubles.
An aeroplane operated by Silverstone Air was forced to make an emergency landing in Eldoret’s Moi International Airport on Monday after a wheel fell off during take-off, Capital News reported.
Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Johnston Ipara confirmed that 5 passengers and 4 crew on board the aircraft from Lodwar safely disembarked.
Kenyans on social media have come out to express their displeasure with the airline’s safety measures and in true Kenyan fashion, blasted Silverstone with the most hilarious tweets. There are two factions on Twitter, some are defending the airline while others are mercilessly bashing it. This has made Silverstone a top trending topic on Twitter today (28.10.19).

The incident comes barely weeks after a plane belonging to the company crashed at Wilson Airport on October 11 shortly after take-off for Lamu.
