Bamboo is off the market ladies.
The famed rapper who gained popularity as part of the legendary hip hop group K-South is a changed man. Now years after his first album “Nairobbery,” rapper turned pastor Bamboo is now a married man. The California-native is ready to settle down.
According to a report in SDE, “The legendary Compe hit maker wedded his Ugandan fiancée on Saturday, February 16, in Ruiru, Kiambu County. On hand to witness Bamboo’s glorious day were his musical siblings, sister Victoria Kimani and brother Kimya Khalifa alias Kimya among others.” Bamboo’s sister , “China Lover” singer Victoria could not help but gush over her brother’s latest milestone. She took to Instagram to share some pictures from the wedding.
According to previous reports, Bamboo’s wife Erica saved him from his wayward ways. Previously a successful secular artist, Bamboo turned a new leaf and choose to serve God, after his interactions with the Ugandan evangelist. Tuko reported, “Bamboo publicly introduced Erica, a Ugandan preacher and singer as his fiancee, sharing with the world about her dark, satanic past.” In January 2019, Bamboo shared a snippet from their traditional wedding, which took place in Uganda.
This week has seen three high profile weddings take place. Apart from Bamboo tying the knot, journalist Dennis Okari proved he has not given up on love, exchanging vows with Naomi Joy after getting divorced from famed television personality Betty Kyallo. Langata MP Nixon Korir also wedded his longtime lover Beryl Zoraima this weekend (16.2.2019).
