It is no secret that Kenyans love Reggae music and thus reggae artists flock the country to entertain fans.
Returning to Kenya to give fans what they have been missing is Jamaican singer Christopher Oteng Martin popularly known as Chris Martin known for hits like ‘Weekend Love’, ‘Paper Loving’, ‘Is It Love’, ‘Mama’, ‘I’m A Big Deal’ and ‘Cheater’s Prayer’.
The 32-year-old is coming for the Umoja Splash Festival on the 7th of December 2019. The announcement by the organizers on social media has excited fans who can’t wait to see the ‘Tell Me’ hitmaker in concert. The details of the event are yet to be disclosed and Chris Martin is also yet to confirm the news.
The father of one who found fame when he won Jamaica’s version of American Idol, Digicel’s Rising Stars in 2005 released his latest album titled ‘And Then’ in May 2019. The album features singles like ‘Bun Fi Bun,’, ‘Can’t Dweet Again,’ ‘Come Back’ and ‘Life’.
Chris Martin recently revealed on his social media pages that the album is being considered for the Best Reggae album award ahead of the 2020 Grammy Awards.

Chris first came to Kenya way back in 2011 alongside his baby mama and singer Bad gyal Cecile for the Sepetuka concert.
The Umoja Festival concert organisers brought fellow Jamaican singer Jah Cure to perform in Kenya for the second time in July 2019 at the Uhuru Gardens.
