Jamaican artist Garfield Spence popularly known as Konshens will make his anticipated return to the 254 in the next few months.
According to a tweet by the ‘Bruk Off’ hitmaker late last night (10.07.19) he will be live in concert on the 7th of September 2019 at the Ngong Race Course in Nairobi, Kenya for Hype Fest.

The news comes days after Konshens has been trending on Twitter in Kenya with many netizens asking him to officially say when he will be returning to the country. Dancehall lovers also went ahead to tell him that they were ready for the concert and even tweeted photos of the skimpy outfit that they would wear.
Last week, as reported by The Sauce Konshens who has been to Kenya a couple of times in the past jumped on the latest Kenyan banger ‘Figa’ by Gengetone hitmakers Ethic to deliver the perfect dancehall remix to it. The song got the interwebs talking and is receiving airplay all across Kenya.
In May, the 34-year-old known for his high energy performances teased that the might be coming to back to Nairobi after shouting out his Kenyan fans for all their love and support they show him online, The Sauce reported.
According to the Hype Fest Twitter account, tickets for the September 7nd concert are out and other acts will include, Ethic, Gwaash, Ochungulo family, Chris Kaiga, Sailors, Sol Generation’s Bensoul and Nviiri the Storyteller.
Nairobi which is hailed as a dancehall capital in Africa has had an increase of Jamaican artists coming to perform with the most recent being the king of lovers rock Jah Cure, Grammy-nominated Etana, Grammy award-winning Morgan Heritage, Alaine, Richie Spice, and Tarrus Riley just to name a few.
