Tanzanian music star Diamond Platinumz is East Africa’s community bae.
At only 29 years old, Naseeb Abdul Juma who goes by the stage name Diamond has been in relationships with several women from across the region and even sired 3 children so far.
Since his breakthrough into the music industry a couple of years ago, Simba, as he is popularly referred to, has dated several Tanzanian beauties such as Jacqueline Wolper, Wema Sepetu, Jokate Mwengelo, Tunda Sebastian and Hamisa Mobetto.
Diamond has expanded his horizons in his music career with more hits, awards and international collaborations with the likes of American musician Omarion and rapper Rick Ross as well as Reggae royalty Morgan Heritage. With the same vigor, he has crossed the borders of Tanzania to find love in Uganda and more recently Kenya.
After his break up with former Miss Tanzania and actress Wema Sepetu, Diamond embarked on a 4-year relationship with Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan with whom he had two children, Latiffah “Tiffah” Dangote, and Prince Nillan Dangote.
Between 2014 and February 2018 Zari and Diamond were East Africa’s power couple but their relationship was marred with claims of infidelity on Diamond’s part.
The claims were true in that the “Number One” singer sired child named Prince Abdul with his Tanzanian mistress and socialite Hamisa Mobetto.
Late 2018 saw Diamond flaunt a new beau on Instagram, a Kenyan this time by the name Tanasha Donna Oketch who is a radio presenter in a local radio station and a video vixen who appeared in Ali Kiba’s video “Nagharamia.”
Diamond and Tanasha are the latest social media sensations with fans waiting on their constant updates on social media. During the Wasafi Festival in Nairobi on New Year’s eve, Diamond couldn’t stop gushing about Tanasha and even “serenaded” her during the show.
The new couple is set to make the ultimate show of love, with plans to for Valentine’s Day nuptials planned for February 2019.
