Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has been the man to watch on Instagram live as the world battles the Coronavirus pandemic.
Tory Lanez has been keeping people entertained with his explicit Instagram live sessions dubbed Quarantine Radio but Instagram shut it down on (07.04.2020).
Social media platform Instagram clamped down on the new wave of entertainment as it violated community guidelines.Fans were upset and Tory Lanez was disappointed.
Lanez revealed this by sharing a screenshot that read he’d been stripped of his privileges to go live until April 14th 2020.
Lanez smartened up and tried to create a whole new Instagram account called Quarantine Radio, but the social media platform spotted that too and quickly shut off streaming capabilities.
“This is crazy at this point,” he later said in a video. “I had 350k live, Instagram cut me off. I made a whole brand new page n***as ain’t never heard of…I just got to 100,000 [viewers and] Instagram shut me off.”
The head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, hopped on IG Live with a Shade Room employee and gave a reason why. Adam said he enjoyed the live show, however, they can’t have nudity on their platform.
Now Lanez is calling on his followers to help him get his IG Live privelges back. He later shared a photo of him dressed in an orange jumpsuit with the hashtag #FreeTory.
As previously reported by The Sauce Lanez’ live Instagram sessions attract over 200,000 viewers from around the world. Aside from the twerk sessions by different viewers, good vibes and great music, the hitmaker also welcomes celebrity guests, including Drake, Megan the Stallion, Tiffany Haddish and Chris Brown.
