Kenyan Hip-hop master Jemedari is back with a new single ‘Row Your Boat.’
Recognized in the industry as one of the most versatile creatives in the music scene. He has since his veteran days managed to maintain the original Hip-Hop style that we now know has taken many different sounds.
Jemedari has had major releases such as ‘Mitaani’, ‘Letter To The President’ and many more. It might ring a loud bell if you particularly liked ‘Zaidi Ya Wote’ which he got together with talented Dan Aceda to create.
It has been a minute though since we heard from skilled artists such as Jemedari and he has made such a terrific come back. He chooses to pick a phrase so familiar it’s sure to stick; because none of us forgets nursery school rhymes. This also transcends lyrical prowess to completely relate perfectly to the message on his comeback tune.
We don’t know who needs to hear this but you need to keep rowing through the sea of life even through the struggles and huddles. It is also completely attractive how he stepped out of his hardcore hip-hop signature to present a laid back more melodious sound that’s simply irresistible.

Jemedari who has been in the industry for a decade is also teasing a collabo with TV personality Abbih Nguma titled ‘Betty.’
