High School Duo Focus On Water Conservation Initiatives In Nairobi

Dorcus Ivy Kaguli and Sheila Kamau from Limuru Girls High  Sschool started a non-profit organization to increase awareness on water conservation in Nairobi. After water rationing affected the capital due to decreasing levels at the Ndakiani Dam, the duo took on the initiative to inform the public on water conservation methods and the importance of smart water use.

 

A project close to their hearts, they continue to persist on to make an impact hoping to collaborate with other organizations including  Worldwide Wildlife Foundation. The pair shared what motivated them to make an impact as well as the challenges they have faced thus far in the video below.
