Harmonize has just dropped another mega-collaboration since the wretched media frenzy after it was confirmed he left Bongo powerhouse Wasafi WCB. The track ‘Inabana’ is a major tune, and proves nothing can stop Harmonize.
The track ‘Inabana’ is a sultry release that fuses Bongo music’s distinct sound and Uganda’s unique ragga sound. Turning a new leaf, it seems Harmonize is only going upwards and onwards taking his music career to new heights with strategic collaborations. One of the few Bongo acts to tap into to the Ugandan music industry, his collaboration with award winning Eddy Kenzo is his second collaboration with a national from the Pearl of Africa. Kenzo adds loads of African sauce to the release, singing in Luganda. According to research, the track ‘Inabana’ was also recorded with Chameleon, but it seems that KondeBoy decided Kenzo was a better fit. In mid-August Harmonize also worked with Ugandan recording artist Sheebah Karungi in a sweet release ‘Follow Me‘.
As earlier reported by The Sauce, Harmonizeis unbothered by the negativity, and media storm, remained completely focused on the music. He recently had a career-making Wembley performance on 24th August, while also working on new music. The young artist shared the stage with other international acts including Naija afrobeat heavyweight Burna Boy, Brit act Stefflon Don, Grime star Kojo Funds, and the ‘African Beyonce’ Tiwa Savage as part of the One Africa Music Fest.
KondeBoy has also confirmed that Wasafi will always be family. He recently took to social media to promote Mbosso’s new release ‘Shilingi’. Harmonize wrote a sweet caption, asking fans to support his friend and his latest track. He wrote, “Sina Mashaka Kabisa…!!! Na Uwezo wako Bro Hongera Kwa Kifungua Mlango Mwingine..!! international way …!!!! ”

The track is a collaboration is Lagos-based act Reekado Banks. The release with sees Mbosso serenade listeners with his classic taarab brand of bongo fuses well with Banks layback sound. The track was produced by Wasafi’s musical mastermind Lizer, who is currently up for an AFRIMMA award as previously reported.
Despite the barage of negativity, it seems that Harmonize is keeping it pushing, determined to let nothing or anyone hold him back. We are sure to expect much more from him in the next few months of 2019.
