The University of Nairobi is in trouble with students yet again.

The institution that has been advertised as a “world-class” institution for higher learning has had a rough year in 2017. With students sent home after riots broke out, it has been 7 months since students attended class. Unfortunately, for the eager students who would be the 2016 cohort of KCSE candidates, they will still have to wait one more month before beginning a new semester.

According to a Twitter update the students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, will be forced to report to over a month later to the previously announced date.

On reception of the news, students were not too pleased with the wasted month, taking to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the institution. It seems that what once was a shining example of academic excellence is no longer found in the University of Nairobi.
