Controversial fitness enthusiast and social media influencer Frankie has distanced claims from an account on Tinder that bears his name.
The father of four took to his Instagram stories to rubbish the claims, writing: “Watu Tinder wanapigwa chenga. Just don’t get scammed. If ‘I’ ask for money, don’t send,” He poked fun at the supposed impersonation.
The account in questioned bore the gym rat’s picture, and bore the name Dan. Further look into it shows that it is supposedly verified. In a quest to prove his point, Frankie posted screenshots detailing how verification on the hit dating app can be faked.
The screenshots partly read: “If a male pretends to be a female, they could fake a pose for the verification process and fill out fake information on the platform…the verification process on Tinder takes into account that you are human and that you look remotely like the pictures that you have uploaded.”
