Fena Gitu’s steam is rising in 2019.
Popular dreadlocked singer Fena Gitu has kicked off 2019 with some fire! The “African King” hitmaker has released her first song of the year called “Steam.”
“Steam” is a sure club banger, a ghetto anthem that was released on 27.01.19. Fena is known for remaking popular childhood anthems from the 90s like “Brikicho”. She has been consistent with her unique style, and “Steam” is another worthy addition in her repertoire.
The song was written by Fena Gitu, produced by Realtym Music, the video was directed by the popular Enos Olik, and styling was done by Oliver Asike of 2 Many Siblings and Sonnie Sons.
Fena received a lot of success last year with projects like being a brand ambassador for alcohol brand Smirnoff, Kenyan hair brand Marini Naturals and Kenyan bag brand, Denri Africa. She ended the year with a bang when she released “Sijaskia Vibaya” in October 2018 which featured cameos by comedian Njugush and rapper Khaligraph Jones.
