Unsuspecting shoppers got a fright during their weekly shop as they were ambushed by zombies.
The undead creatures appeared behind tills and at the fish counters as shoppers gasped.
However, it was revealed that they had been pranked by YouTube stars Caspar Lee and Oli White, as the online stars marked the launch of Fanta Dark Orange – a limited flavor of the drink released for Halloween.
The duo was joined by professional ‘zombie’ actors; they snuck up on unsuspecting customers to parody the classic horror movie trope of the ‘zombie supermarket showdown’.
Casper and Oli commented: “In every zombie movie, there’s always a showdown in the supermarket. Everyone knows we love a prank and we couldn’t resist recreating this classic set-up for Halloween.”
