Famed model Slick Woods reveals she went into labor during Fenty runway show

Slick Woods was having contractions during the Fenty runway show.

The 22-year-old model gave birth to her first son Saphir, who she shares with fellow model Adonis Bosso, on Friday (14.09.18) – and has revealed that she went into labor during Rihanna’s New York Fashion Week Savage x Fenty Lingerie Presentation in Brooklyn.

Sharing a photo of herself during the show on Instagram, she wrote:

It was reported that an ambulance was called moments after the model stepped off the runway.

Slick rose to fame two years ago after featuring in a campaign for Kanye West’s Yeezy brand and since then has appeared in several international editions of Vogue and a campaign for Calvin Klein. The model stunned on the catwalk wearing a black string one-piece, gold glittering sheer stockings and pointed nipple covers – and the ensemble was paired with chunky gold hoops and a black velvet headband.

It’s not surprising the star decided to walk whilst pregnant, as she has previously said her pregnancy has made her view her body in a totally different way. She said: “I now see my body as something that nourishes my child. I used to treat it as an accessory. I have a newfound appreciation for who I am as a woman, my body, and what I can do. I’m happy I’m experiencing it so young.”
