Fadhili Wilkins has remained the subject of conversation for more than 24 hours.
The brand development and social entrepreneur became K.O.T fodder when Larry Madowo exposed him for allegedly aligning himself with the high-flying journalist, and taking credit for his success.
Apparently, Larry Madowo was not the only Kenyan public figure with a story to tell about Wilkins as Julie Gichuru, Edith Kimani, Olive Karmen and even Keroche Breweries boss Anerlise Mungai taking to Twitter. Adding fuel to the fire, Wilkins apologized but it seems that it was not enough for the scores of tweeps who were out for blood.
Fadhili quickly released a 5-part apology that would cover a multitude of sins:
1. I want to apologize @LarryMadowo
@elanimuziki
@ADELLEO
@cinjera
Edith and anyone else for using your names. I would love an opportunity to apologize to you personally and sincerely .#NiPossible— WILKINS.FADHILI (@wilkinsfadhili) January 27, 2019
2. I am good at brand development and for my clients this entails personal branding, brand strategy and brand experience. I’ve worked with a few brands and I am really passionate about this. #NiPossible

There are many lessons to learn from Wilkins unfortunate expose, here are a few that could help you on your way to the top.
1. Honesty is the best policy.
Whether your business is struggling or you may have difficulty securing a steady income, always strive to be honest. Poor communication and half-truths will only get you so far.
2. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. – Winston Churchill
Fadhili may have been at the top of his game, with speaking engagements and multiple favorable articles highlighting his achievements, but his reputation quickly took a nose-dive. But, it is important to note that everyone can change their ways and recover from the worst of situations. Take the ‘L’, learn your lesson and do better.
3. Distinguish between perception and reality.
Stunting for the Gram will only get you so far. You want to live the lavish life, work towards it. Creating a fake online persona will catch up with you.
