Given that most of these conferences take place in foreign countries, it gives the participants the chance to travel overseas and interact with different cultures.

1.Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) Youth4AfSol Conference 2017
Where: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Fully Funded).
Application Deadline: 10th March 2017.
About: IPSS is looking to create a space for young Africans through its own Youth4AfSol event. With a focus on peace and security, the platform will be solely dedicated to giving an opportunity for young Africans to share their ideas in shaping African solutions to Africa’s problems.
Requirements:
Applicants should be between ages of 21 to 35.
Complete the application form on the IPSS website.
Submit a 1000 word essay on one of the themes mentioned on the IPSS website.
Submit a recommendation letter from a supervisor, or from a lecturer if in school.
Submit a resume/CV (maximum 3 pages)

2.Clinton Global Initiative University Annual Meeting 2017

Deadline: March 1, 2017 (early application) and May 1, 2017 (final).
About: The Clinton Global Initiative convenes global leaders to create and implement innovative solutions to the world’s most promising challenges. The 10th annual CGIU meeting will take place on October 13-15th, 2017 at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Where: Kigali, Rwanda (Funded)

About: WHSS is the world’s biggest student conference, the biennial global multidisciplinary summit that brings together healthcare students and healthcare professionals under one roof to learn.
