Eric Omondi has made a reputation for himself as an odd funny man, but sometimes his brand of humor misses the mark, as it did with Man United fans.
Eric, former Churchill Show comedian posted a video of himself posing as the football jersey seller. However, things got dark when he sold Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and even Tottenham jerseys at competitive prices; and went on to give the Manchester United jerseys at a ‘throw away price’. He went on to say in the viral video ‘Liverpool mia tano, Tottenham mia nne, Arsenali mia tatu.” He goes on to look confused, with many Manchester United jerseys in hand and not enough willing buyers in sight. He says ” Manchester, Manchester… Manchester mia moja,” he lowers the price and does the unthinkable, “Manchester hamsini, Manchester ni bure…Manchester ni bure!” The crowds disperse, wanting nothing to do with the Manchester United branded jerseys.

Whether he meant it as a joke, or to prove Kenyans on Twitter, he is now in for it with all Man United fans worldwide. Some have reacted questioning if he is a true fan, and what he could do better if given the chance on the field.

After suffering 10 losses in the Premier League this season, Manchester United’s standings are at a disappointing 6th place. And with many fans worried about the state of the club, Omondi is not the only one who tried to give the technical bench their two cents.
Your ‘technical bench’ should have listened to him earlier before 😆😆 pic.twitter.com/LYTv2i6PEg

This is not the first time Eric’s funny gimics have gotten him in trouble. According to The Sauce, a notorious bet posted on Sunday (10.3.2019) would have Omondi shave his hair and give out his fiancée Chantal Grazzioli to businessman Joe Muchiri if Arsenal beat Manchester United. With the Arsenal-Manchester United league game not ending in his favor, Omondi faced lots of ridicule as he was forced to eat his words as Kenyans on Tweet continued to jeer and mock the comic.
But as it stands, Eric Omondi might have to give an apology to the greater Manchester United fandom.
