How To Ensure You Are Not A Victim Of Revenge Porn

The recent Instagram posts by Robert Kardashian are a classic example of revenge porn. In this case, Rob shared intimate images of his ex-fiance, Blac Chyna, after she moved on with another man.

Sharing the images online, Rob could be in hot water that could see him sentenced to prison for sharing the explicit images on the social networking site, not to mention the details he revealed in the images’ captions. If you are not fond of having your naked images on the internet like Blac Chyna, there are several steps that you can take to avoid being a victim of revenge porn.

 

Here are a few tips on how to avoid being a victim:

1.Do Not Take Intimate Images

Images of yourself in a compromising position, naked or anything remotely suggestive could be used against you. It may seem that these images of Blac Chyna were sent between 2 consenting adults, seeking to spice up a relationship however now, her images and reputation are likely to suffer due to the images.

 2. Do Not Share Intimate Images

The internet never forgets. It may take a long time to you track down and erase the images posted. To avoid the embarrassment and drama that comes with having your images shared online, never share intimate images. If someone does take images of you, ensure the images are deleted immediately.

3.When Compromised, Contact The Authorities

If you find out that your images may be circulating online without your consent, you can always contact the authorities to seek legal action. Quick action can help stop and catch the guilty parties.
