Edulink International College CEO Dr. Raj Gill, Group Academic Director Professor Helen Mason and Principal Dr Narinder Suri cut a cake to officially commission the blended learning model by the college along Ngong’ Road in Nairobi.

Kenyan students planning to study abroad now have an opportunity to save over $50,000 (Sh4.57 million) on the overall cost of study in an overseas university. This has been brought about by the introduction of the blended learning model by Edulink International College that recently opened in Nairobi. The model allows Edulink to deliver the first 2 years of an American Bachelors Degree in the country before transferring their credits to a University overseas.

“We are delighted to offer the University Transfer Programme which has numerous benefits, including the provision of quality education that is cost-effective,” said Dr Raj Gill, the Campus’s Executive Director.

This programme is just one of the innovative practices and courses that will be offered by Edulink International College with the aim of enhancing students’ employability.

This unique college is part of a group run by Edulink Consultants, a global educational services company that has partnered with renowned international academic institutions to establish the Nairobi campus at a cost of US$ 3 million (Sh275 million). Commenting on this investment, Dr Gill stated that the aim of The College, the tagline of which is ‘Education That Works’, is to revolutionise the higher education sector and positively impact on the labour market in Kenya.

“Edulink International College will deliver a range of Internationally recognised programmes such as Multimedia (ARENA) and Software Development (ACCP). APTECH has trained over 7 million people, 100,000 of whom are in Africa. We will be equipping our graduates for global employability and for making a real contribution to the Kenyan economy.”

Edulink Consultants have invested in the best infrastructure, faculty and equipment in Edulink International College in order to offer an exceptional educational experience. The college has a capacity of 1500 students and a state-of-the-art library, IT laboratories and Wi-Fi across the entire campus.

Dr Narinder Suri, the College Principal said that the first intake of students will be in March. ‘The goal is to proactively emphasise personal growth by enhancing an individual’s ability to aspire, work hard and succeed. We will empower students with the technical mastery and work-related capabilities required by employers.”
