Octopizzo headlined Koroga Festival’s Sunday night digital stream yesterday (17.05.2020) and it was epic.
The ‘Something For You’ rapper performed some of his biggest hits including ‘Noma Ni,’ ‘Prezidential’ ‘T.B.T’ as well as the classic fan favorite ‘Bank Otuch’ a collaboration with vernacular rap star Vicmass LuoDollar.
His set backed by Dj Smallz also featured newer releases including ‘Wakiritho’ a collaboration with gengetone group Sailor Gang. 2019 releases ‘Kanye’, ‘Red Namba Plate’ and his latest project with Barack Jacuzzi ‘Che Che’ were among the tracks that kept fans entertained, as the livestream went on late into the wee hours of the night. He also had a special surprise, debuting an unreleased track dubbed ‘Flex’ much to the delight of fans who were watching online. Teasing the track, he mentioned it would be out soon enough.
The ‘Oliel’ rapper fondly known as the Don Papichulo to fans is currently on a mission to make life a little bit better for the many hit by the financial effects of the Nairobi County lock down. The ‘Feed The Streets’ project spearheaded by his charity organization Octopizzo Foundation hopes to feed 10,000.
