Dr Dre Ordered To Pay Almost $ 300K In Monthly Spousal Support Per New Court Documents

Dr Dre’s woes may be far from over if the latest legal developments are anything to go by.

The legendary rapper-cum-producer has been ordered to pay almost $ 3ooK in monthly spousal support to ex-wife Nicole Young. Previously, it had been reported that Young demanded that dre pay her a whooping $ 300K support per month, a demand that was turned down by the court. The messy divorce became the subject of many tabloid headlines, with critics taking sides as the two went back and forth with conflicting stands on the amount. Dre had initially agreed to pay Young a one-off payment amounting to $ 2 million.

Per new legal documents, Dre has been ordered to pay $ 293, 306 in monthly spousal support ($ 3.5 million) a year payable on the 1st of each month and slated to commence on August 1.

According to the obtained court documents, Dre is ought to pay the monthly amounts “until the party receiving support remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, death of either party.” Nicole will also be getting her health insurance paid by Dr. Dre, and the judge ordered Dre to “continue paying the expenses for the Malibu, and Pacific Palisades homes.”

Dre has not had an easy year hitherto. Earlier this year, he was hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm.
