No wahala: It’s all love as Davido welcomes his first boy-child Prince and Wizkid makes history

Afrobeats mega-act Davido has welcomed his first child with fiancee Chioma Rowland, and it’s all love as Wizkid also celebrates a big win, with a sold-out concert in the U.K.

The twosome welcomed a baby boy in London on the 20th of October 2019. Chioma, who has garnered quite the reputation as a seasoned Instagram chef delivered a healthy baby who now goes by the name Prince. The Nigerian power couple seemed elated to welcome new addition to their growing family, as Davido as two children Aurora Imade Adeleke and Hailey Veronica Adeleke from previous relationships.

In an Instagram post, Davido thanked his wife-to-be for her strength, in delivering their first offspring together. He wrote, “OMOBA TI DE!!! DAVID ADEDEJI IFEANYI ADELEKE Jr I !! D PRINCE IS HERE!!!! 20 – 10 – 2019 !!! Love you, my STRONG WIFE!!! @thechefchi I LOVE YOU!!!!!”

In videos doing the rounds online, Davido is seen popping champaign, and sipping on Hennessy in celebration of Prince’s birth. The ‘Lower Body’ crooner was unable to attend Wizkid’s mega-show in one of the United Kingdom’s biggest arenas.

According to a report on Okay Africa, WizKid shut down the O2 Arena, with more than 20,000 people in attendance, “making him the only African to have ever sold out the coveted venue twice. From the looks of things, the show was phenomenal and featured almost all the top Nigerian and pioneering Afrowave talent.” Though Davido was not present, it seems that there was no bad blood between the two Afrobeats stars.

This is not the first time Wizkid has sold out the 02 Arena as earlier reported by The Sauce. This time he was joined by the likes of Afro B, Skepta, Tiwa Savage, Runtown, Naira Marley, Olamide, Fireboy DML, Maleek Berry, Terri, Reekado Banks, Oxlade and more.
