Popular content creator Brendah Jons set the social media streets on fire over the weekend.
Evidently a tad inebriated, Jons went on Instagram live and boldly came out as a member of LGBTQ, before going ahead to allege that her girlfriend cheated on her with a renowned Nairobi celebrity hair stylist, Phoina, who Jons is friends with.
She revealed the girlfriend in question, one @phy_lamar had moved in with her already, a fact she says her mom already knows. She said they had been together for 9 months, and went on to say that the cheating had adversely affected her and she was not doing okay.
Jons would later apologise to followers and the people she had mentioned in the reveal, before saying she was taking a social media break to deal with her woes privately. “I know you all didn’t deserve all these. It was not necessary to go live and even involve you in all this drama of my life. I should have dealt with this privately but I didn’t, so I’m gonna have to live with that. I apologise to everyone, and I mean everyone, ata wale walinikosea, for publicly tarnishing their names. Yes, they were wrong, but hii yote wasn’t really mature of me. So poleni nyote.”
She acknowledged that she too needed to work on herself as ‘’I can be toxic too so I need to work on myself as well.’’
Jons is famed for her ‘Plesdent Kingston’ clips and other creative videos that captivate her followers, with their characteristic comic element.
