China donates Sh6 million towards education of Garissa attack survivors

CHINA MOI CHEQUE

The Chinese Embassy in Nairobi has donated 67,000 USD (Sh6M) to Moi University. The donation will go towards educating the surviving students of the Garissa University College attack.

Chinese Ambassador to Kenya, Liu Xianfa, said the Chinese community in Kenya organised the largest gift donation to the family and victims of those injured.

The China-Kenya business association helped fundraise for the surviving students with the help of the China Overseas Association and the China General Chamber of Commerce in East Africa.
