Capital FM’s Dj Joe Mfalme is one of Kenya’s most sought-after deejays who is widely acclaimed for his prowess in mixing various genres of music.
The award-winning disc jockey has landed two music shows at the Mediamax owned television station K24 as part of their new programming. The two shows will be airing every Wednesday at 10 pm and Saturday from 10 pm. The first-midweek show aired yesterday (28.08.19)
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, the super excited DJ mentioned the two shows will be known as the ‘Playlist 254’ in which he will be playing all the hard-hitting Kenyan tracks and ‘The Countdown’ where he will be counting down nothing but the hottest local & international club bangers.

This is not the first time that the King of the decks has had a show at the Kijabe Street station. He had a TVshow called The Rave on K24 TV for two years and stopped airing in June 2016.
Dj Joe Mfalme who connects people through music is a long-time radio deejay at Capital FM playing on various shows such as ‘The Heat’, ‘Take Over Thursdays’ and ‘Radioactive Mixx’. He also hosts a music show dubbed ‘The Turn Up’ on Maisha Magic East with Capital FM Breakfast show host Amina Abdi.
Born Joseph Mwenda Munoru on the 9th of December 1987 in Meru County. His interest in being a Dj begun at an early age of 13 years old while listening to some of Kenya’s pioneer Dj’s. Dj Joe Mfalme found fame after entering the Pilsner Mfalme Dj Competition 2008, where he came a close 2nd and later joined Capital FM.
