Socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika has announced her first pregnancy.
The controversial former video vixen who has kept a low profile ever since relocating to the coastal town of Mombasa broke the news on her Instagram page yesterday (16.06.2021), to the surprise of her followers.
A week ago, Sidika had posted a cryptic message to her Instagram that read: 16.06.2021…Save the date…
In true Vera Sidika fashion, she had the interwebs on a bona fide shockwave when she posted the big reveal summed up in a 55-second clip that starts with shots of her touching up her makeup, then strolling down a hallway as she smiles ear to ear, before cradling her growing baby bump.
‘’An adventure is about to begin. I love you so much my husband @brianmauzo254, ‘’ she captioned it.

In a follow up-up post, the hair and beauty entrepreneur expressed that she is super excited to have a bun in the oven and starting a family with her singer husband. She added that she is also glad that she has had a smooth pregnancy without any complications.
‘’We are pregnant and we couldn’t be more excited! We decided it was time to add a lil’ entertainer to our lil’ family. We’ve waited for sometime to share our lovely news. We are so excited for this bundle of joy to come into our life and to experience a love far beyond all measures. We are thankful that the Lord chose us to be this baby’s parent!, ’’ she wrote.
Friends and fans took to social media to congratulate the couple on their blessing with some saying that it took a lot of secrecy to keep the news under wraps from the media.
This will be Sidika’s first child with husband singer Brian Mauzo, who she got engaged to in September last year and later married on October 12 the same year, as she reveal back in April. “We already got married 12th October 2020 just not done the wedding ceremony, ” she revealed after a follower question if she had plans of marrying the singer anytime soon. The two have since kept it under the radar, save for the loved-up pictures they often post on their social media, making it clear that they are still together.
Sidika who is known for pulling off stunts just for the buzz has been rumored to be pregnant several times in the past but they were just that, rumours. She has also dated popular men over the last couple of years including hitmaker Otile Brown and Tanzanian hunk Jimmy Chansa.
