Bongo star Mbosso spills the tea on Diamond platnumz work ethic and why he’s Intimidated

Mbosso stated that while on stage, Diamond usually leaves nothing to chance. As you can imagine it is quite difficult to keep up with him.

Renowned Tanzanian singer Mbosso has explained why he gets intimidated while performing alongside his boss Diamond Platnumz.

Speaking during a recent interview, Mbosso stated that it is always a challenge performing alongside Diamond due to his experience in the music industry.

“Diamond ni kama kioo changu, unajifunza mengi kutoka kwake uki perfrom, lakini hofu ipo. Lazima uwe na mashaka kwa sababu yeye shughuli yake si ndogo. (Diamond is my inspiration, you learn a lot from him during the performance but there is always some fear. I must have some fear because he goes to a great extent during performances),” said Mbosso.

Mbosso further confirmed that he has resumed his shows with the singer scheduled to perform in Tanga for the one mic one-man show.

The singer added that the Coronavirus pandemic led to the cancellation of his shows in Europe. He notes that he had planned for three shows in Paris but all were canceled due to restrictions of containing the deadly virus.

Mbosso’s scheduled Tanga show comes at a time when several bongo musicians have returned to doing live shows after the country claimed victory over the virus.
