You could say Tanzanian songstress Nandy is a patriot down right to her music.
The singer who is popularly referred to as the African Princess recently released a remade version of her hit song ‘Ninogeshe’ which showers the Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli with praises with every line.
The song which is aptly named ‘Magufuli Tena’ comes in the wake of the country’s elections in 2020 and speaks of the wonderful leader that is Magufuli and all he has been able to achieve so far. From infrastructure developments, education, health and economic growth. The charismatic President was elected in 2015 and the song is an effort to show Tanzanians what the current head of state has to offer if he stays in power.
Nandy whose real name is Faustina Charles Mfinanga said, “Magufuli Tena is a special song to congratulate President John Magufuli for his best efforts and leadership.”

The country’s spokesperson congratulated Nandy on the release of the song that has since garnered over 160,000 views on YouTube saying that music highlights the good and bad in the society which is this case, she used her craft to shed light on the goodness of Magufuli.
