The Academy Awards were a doozy, and for the many who were rooting for ‘Black Panther’ to win Best Picture, the Oscars had a few upsetting revelations.
However, the masses could be appeased that ‘Green Book’ the gripping tale of two men who form an unlikely friendship in difficult times; we justly recognised winning the Academy Award for Best Picture. Nonetheless, the thrilling cultural evolution that is ‘Black Panther’ did not walk away empty-handed winning the Academy Award for Best Original Score, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.
In a series of unlikely wins, Spike Lee also recognized for his directorial role in the challenging movie ‘Blackkklansman.’ Most of the wins of the night fell into the predictions of The Sauce, however, there is a good number that were a shocker. Check out the full list of winners below:
