‘Black-ish’ star Tracee Ellis Ross dons an empowering t-shirt to honor her mama Diana Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross is a mama’s girl and she won’t deny it.

The ‘Blackish’ star celebrated her iconic mother as she turned 75 yesterday (26.3.2019). As first born out of five children, Tracee led celebrations to honor her mother and one of the world’s most celebrated performers. She took to Instagram to share an image of herself in a t-shirt with the writings”I’m Gonna Win.” Paying homage to her accomplished mother, Tracee went on to encourage her followers to buy the shirt. According to People Magazine, activism apparel company Phenomenal Woman printed the iconic shirt commemorating Diana’s 75th. The proceeds from the sale of this shirt benefit the non-profit Higher Heights which supports black women in political spheres.

With an outpour of ‘Endless Love,’ Ross celebrated another year around the sun in style with a star-studded party with high-flying celebrities including Berry Gordy Motown Records’ founder, Mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Queen Beyonce as well as reality show favorites Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. The party went on late into the night as Beyonce sang happy birthday to the former Supremes lead, as the crowd present fawned over Diana’s effortless smile.
